***** A developer's note about the wetland ponds... *****

If this is your first time visiting the neighborhood during the Parade of Homes, we wanted to pass along a special maintenance bulletin FYI:  Recent persistent rains (bringing in an overload of fertile storm water runoff) has caused a bit of an algae bloom in a few of our ponds over the past 3 weeks, most notably some dense areas of string algae around the water's edge.  Algae blooms are uncharacteristic in these ponds, temporary, and will clear up once the daily downpours subside and we're able restart regular maintenance activities again.

The heavy rain has also hampered our weed eradication schedule around the ponds this summer, but eradication will resume next growing season -- since many weeds have already gone to seed this year, before we were able to perform work in those soft-ground areas.  If the rain does not let up, ark construction is scheduled to commence very soon.
